Janitorial

A leading beverage manufacturing company in Fontana has an open position for a Sanitation Worker to provide general maintenance and cleanness of the facility. The candidate must have good communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. Expect to work 40-50 hours per week. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SWING SHIFT

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Empties trash receptacles in office facilities as well as the Production Floor
• Provides general maintenance in lavatories as need
• Ensures Employee Break Room is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion
• Moves material from location to location as needed
• Have a basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses within the Plant
• Be able to use the floor scrubber
• Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.
• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the janitorial service.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions.
• Must be fluent in English.
