Maintenance Technician

California Aseptic Beverages is seeking Electro-Mechanics for our beverage co-packing facility in Fontana, CA. The primary function of this position is to assure that all equipment is in prime operating condition and that all repairs are done in an efficient and timely manner.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining all equipment in prime operating condition and ensuring that all repairs are done on an efficient and timely basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Completing planned, unplanned and corrective maintenance on all equipment including Production, Packaging and Distribution and document all repairs
• Install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems in industrial settings
• Responsible for changing overs on the various lines according to production need.
• Help in Performing regularly scheduled TBA A3 Speed maintenance.
• Perform proper Tag Out procedures at all times
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Possess thorough mechanical and electrical knowledge and ability (theories and principles)
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems
• 3 phase motor repair
• Conveyors
• Robotics
• Processing Equipment
• Pump/Valve/Gearbox rebuilding
• Filling / filler and packaging machines

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and/or years of experience:

• High School Diploma (preferably a technical institute degree)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical experience
• Candidates with maintenance experience within beverage production facility (Preferred)

B. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations (applicable to position)

• Related Technical training certificates are a plus
